PRP involves collecting a sample of your blood (like taking a blood test), and separating its components by spinning it in a special device, called a centrifuge. At Revitalize Medical Aesthetics Inc., we use the Health Canada approved Eclipse system for PRP. Because this system is specifically made for PRP application, a very concentrated sample of your platelets (part of your blood that contains important growth factors) is available to be injected safely into your face and scalp in order to stimulate collagen production, which then helps to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, as well as general improvements to your skin tone and texture. Growth factors injected into the scalp can help stimulate hair follicles and promote new hair growth.  As with most anti-aging treatments, a series of treatments is recommended for maximum results.

Have trouble with dark circles under your eyes? Try adding some of your PRP with a cannula to improve the tear trough area (the area under your eye). The treatment has very few side effects, since we use your own blood.
