Dermal fillers are Health Canada approved cosmetic treatments that temporarily help to improve the appearance of wrinkles and folds. They are used in different areas of the face for adding volume, contouring the cheeks, lips, and nasolabial folds (the smile lines).
Dermal fillers may last anywhere from three to twelve months, depending on the type of filler, the area corrected, and genetic factors.
