Microneedling
Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy or Vampire Facial, is based on the ability of the skin to repair and heal itself, and involves using find needles to create tiny puncture wounds on your skin. Only Health Canada approved Microneedling devices are used at Revitalize Medical Aesthetics Inc. to ensure that the highest standards of infection control precautions are maintained. The controlled tiny wounds, or injuries, then stimulate your body’s own natural healing process, thereby increasing the production of important growth factors, which then helps to increase new collagen production.
Microneedling can be used on the face, body, and scalp for hair loss. This treatment helps improve fine lines and wrinkles, sagging skin, sun damaged skin, hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores, stretch marks, and some scars (surgical or acne scars).
Microneedling with platelet rich plasma (PRP) can help hair thinning or hair loss.
